Steven Weitzman’s figurative art glass sculptures play with the translucent molten glass medium, using color, texture and light to add dimension to these unique sculptures. “Fish Heads” uses two blown glass self-portrait heads as fish bowls, resulting in a unique and playful final piece. In contrast, “Bound Man” incorporates other media into the glass sculpture, including copper nails and wires, for a contemporary take on aboriginal African fetishes.
