Steven Weitzman’s fine arts portfolio includes many notable bronze sculptures. Works garnering national attention include the heroic-sized statue of Frederick Douglass, now on permanent display in the United States Capitol’s Emancipation Hall, as well as his bronze statue of Mayor Marion Barry Jr., “Mayor for Life,” installed in the John A.
