This bas-relief concrete wall proposal for the Columbia Heights Metro stop in D.C. highlights the original 1800’s horse racetrack that was located at the current metro site. Dynamic reliefs of horses that gallop up the wall as visitors ride up and down the escalator commemorate the historic racetrack.
