A FŌTERA® concrete terrazzo mural illustrating the life of Robert H. Goddard caps the 71-foot-long bench that lines the courtyard. At the center of the space, Goddard’s original rocket tower is surrounded by a concrete enclosure engraved with a quotation reflecting his dreams of space travel. At the far end, a larger-than-life bronze statue of Goddard peers through a spotting telescope toward the rocket tower.
