This life-sized bronze statue of Robert Goddard, most notably known as the father of modern rocket propulsion, is part of an integrated public art site for the Robert Goddard Exhibit at the Roswell Museum and Arts Center. The sculpture portrays him in a familiar setting, poised to observe the launch of one of his rockets at the ready on its launch pad. In addition, the installation includes a themed, illustrative, FŌTERA® concrete terrazzo bench.
